The mailman dropped off a package of cards that have inspired me. I usually make my cards in standard sizes and make them light and relatively flat because of mailing restrictions. But all of the cards donated to SAS4K (Canada) are hand-delivered to kids who are patients in hospital. Why does it matter that the cards are hand-delivered? Well, it matters because the cards don't need to be mailed which means they can be odd-shaped, heavy with embellishments, and even super-sized!
The cards I received today came all the way from Karen P. in Kent, England and she has created some lovely cards that are large in spirit, skill and size (the biggest is 8" x 8"). These big cards are so impactful! I'm going to take a lesson from Karen P and my next batch of cards for the kids are going to be completely unsuitable for mailing! LOL.
And with that, I hope you all have a great day filled with glitter!
